Father, we have freely received Your gift of forgiveness and salvation. Because of this we are motivated by compassion for the lost as we recognize their ultimate human need is to have a spiritual relationship with You. We want to be a part of the ultimate mission in reaching them with the gospel message so that they might have forgiveness of sins and enjoy eternal life in heaven. Keep us ever mindful of our mission and obedient to Your leading. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Father, it is through Your eyes of compassion that we see people who have genuine need. Help us not to look at a distance and wait for others to respond, but be willing to do our part as we ask You to help us meet the need. Even as You have given to us the abundant life, help us to be abundant in giving of ourselves to others in their need. We pray for this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Eternal God, faithful throughout the ages, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and praise. How grateful we are for all Your works; for Your redemptive love that saves us from our sins and prepares our hearts for eternity. Our life is but a vapor here, but everlasting in the life to come so keep us mindful of eternity in the midst of our temporal existence. In doing so our attitudes and choices will reflect those made in heaven, not those of this fleeting world that is vanishing day by day.

Father, Your grace is amazing, far beyond the natural circumstances of life, so that it requires a heart of faith if we are to receive the free gift of Your salvation. Thank You for your greatest sacrifice when You sent Your only Son, Jesus, to die in our place. Through His righteous act where He paid fully with His very life, we received the free gift of salvation available to all who will call upon the name of the Lord.

Father, You welcome all to be a part of Your kingdom: the young and the old, the weak and the strong, those born in ideal circumstances and those conceived in the worst imaginable settings. All the days ordained for our lives were written in Your book before one of them came to be. May our welcoming voices and warm touch make an eternal difference to innocent lives born in our hostile world, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Father, in our hearts, we want to be fully prepared to give an answer for the hope that is within us. We want to do it prayerfully, Scripturally, and with gentleness and respect, so that You are honored through our words and in our lives. Help us to live in such a way that our friends and family members will want to know the God we serve. Amen.

Father, we are assured that You will guide us each day as we keep in step with Your Spirit. You satisfy our needs and give strength to the weary. Thank You for hearing our cries and saving us from our troubles. Thank You for being close to the brokenhearted and comforting those whose spirits have been crushed. Though we choose to live according to Your ways we know that we’re not exempt from problems, but we are greatly encouraged to know that You, Father, solve them all and sustain us in the midst of them. Thank You faithful, holy and righteous One. Amen.

Father, You provided David with supernatural courage, strength, and skill to defeat the bully of a giant, Goliath. You divided the waters of the Red Sea and the Jordan River so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that we might always be in reverential fear of Your sovereign supremacy. Nothing in ourselves will defeat the enemies we face, but “with God all things are possible.”

Jesus, You see us in our hour of need. You look beyond our supposed prestige, our accumulation of wealth, or earthly accomplishments. You perceive our thoughts from afar. As You turn on the search light within our hearts You reveal anything or anyone that separates us from You. Thank You that we can be reconciled to You and experience forgiveness for our sins through Your redeeming blood. The riches of Your grace far exceeds the fleeting riches this world has to offer. You lead us in the way everlasting as we earnestly seek You, for You “came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
